Alicia Witt – Album Release Show
Actress and classically trained pianist Alicia Witt celebrates her new album, Between Heaven and Earth, on Friday, April 30, at 8 p.m. at The Ark in Ann Arbor. The record was shaped by the memory of David Lynch. Tickets are $35.
Witt recorded Between Heaven and Earth live in New York City with producer Joe Henry and a band put together just for this project. The songs deal in love, gratitude and wonder, with no bitterness or regret. David Lynch's influence runs through it. Witt's first film role was in Dune at age seven, and she says he's woven through her life.
Witt is widely known for her work in film, TV and theater, but music has always been a constant for her. Her earlier albums include Revisionary History (2015), The Conduit (2021) and I Think I'm Spending Christmas With You (2024).
A VIP meet and greet package is also available. It includes a general admission ticket, a pre-show meet and greet with Alicia, and autographs. Bring up to five items of your own or buy some at the merch table. Availability is limited. Online and phone prices include the ticket processing fee, and tickets bought in person at The Ark box office during its hours carry no added fees.
