He appears on Bobby Murray’s Detroit Music Award–winning “Sooner Come Later,” earned a DMA nomination for “Some Better Days,” channels Nat King Cole in Sky Covington’s Take 5: All Male Jazz Revue, and has made TV and radio appearances. The Smoke Jones Band was voted Best Jazz/Blues Band in WDIV’s 2021 “Vote 4 The Best.”
