Ehnes plays Elgar

Ehnes brings an intimate, personal touch to the stage, and he finds deep richness in Elgar's expansive concerto. Hindoyan looks for playfulness in Dvořák, and the Seventh Symphony balances fire, lyricism and lightness. It's a program full of Romantic spirit.

Most classical performances have a 30-minute pre-concert talk an hour beforehand, covering the composer's inspiration, the story behind a work and more. Seating for the talk is general admission in Orchestra Hall, so you can try a different seat or section than your ticket. Friday morning Coffee Concerts don't include a talk.

Part of the PVS Classical series.
