Civic Jazz Live

Student musicians from the Civic Youth Ensemble's Civic Jazz Orchestra, directed by Anthony Stanco, play The Cube at the Fisher Music Center in Detroit on Friday, March 26, at 7 p.m. It opens the DSO's Paradise Jazz Series, and tickets are $15.

The Civic Jazz Orchestra is the select jazz ensemble of the Civic Youth Ensemble, made up of students from across Metro Detroit. Members have been chosen for MSBOA All-State Jazz, featured at the Detroit Jazz Festival, and they play often around Southeast Michigan.

The night kicks off the Detroit Symphony Orchestra's Paradise Jazz Series. You can also hang out in The Cube before the show.
