Civic Jazz Live

Student musicians from the Civic Youth Ensemble's Civic Jazz Orchestra, directed by Anthony Stanco, play The Cube at the Max M. & Marjorie S. Fisher Music Center in Detroit on Saturday, February 6, at 7 p.m. It opens the DSO's Paradise Jazz Series, and tickets are $15.

Civic Jazz Live! kicks off the Detroit Symphony Orchestra's Paradise Jazz Series. On stage is the Civic Jazz Orchestra, the select jazz ensemble of the Civic Youth Ensemble, made up of students from across Metro Detroit.

Members have been picked for MSBOA All-State Jazz, featured at the Detroit Jazz Festival, and play often around Southeast Michigan. Anthony Stanco directs the group.
