Legato Memory Café

The Detroit Symphony Orchestra hosts Legato Memory Café on Tuesday, May 4, at 1:30 p.m. at the Max M. & Marjorie S. Fisher Music Center in Detroit. It's a welcoming gathering for people experiencing dementia or other cognitive changes and their care partners.

Legato Memory Café is a monthly meetup built around connection and support. Expect creative activities like music-making, painting and storytelling, plus light refreshments. No medical diagnosis is needed to join.

You'll get a name tag when you arrive and a few minutes to settle in. The group activity runs about an hour, followed by 20-30 minutes of refreshments and conversation.
