Día de los Muertos: Day of the Dead on the riverfront at Valade Park
The Detroit Riverfront Conservancy holds its yearly Day of the Dead celebration at Robert C. Valade Park on Sunday, November 1, 11 a.m.–3 p.m., with food, live entertainment, shop vendors and kids' activities, plus a community ofrenda where you can add a name or message for a loved one. Kackleberry Farms Fall Festival: pig races, a mega slide and a pumpkin patch in Monroe
Kackleberry Farms in Monroe runs its Fall Festival on weekends from September 12 through November 1, plus Thursday and Friday evenings (3–7 p.m.) on October 15, 16, 22 and 23, with 30+ attractions including a super-mega slide, a jumping pillow and pig and duck races.
