For the 15th year, the Northville Downtown Development Authority lets life-sized skeletons take over downtown Northville for all of October, kicking off with a launch party on Friday, October 2, 5–10 p.m.
Blake's Big Apple in Armada throws a moonlit fall market on two Fridays, October 2 and October 16, starting at 5 p.m., with spooky-themed vendors, handmade goods, treats, live music and bonfires. It's free, you just need to RSVP.
The Henry Ford's evening Halloween walk returns to Greenfield Village in Dearborn for its 46th season, October 1–4, 8–11, 15–18 and 22–25 (Thursdays to Sundays), 6–9:30 p.m., with more than 50 costumed characters and scenes from The Wizard of Oz and The Legend of Sleepy Hollow. Tickets run $28–$42, and several nights sell out, so book early.
From October 2 through November 1, Blake's Big Apple in Armada goes full spooky every Friday, Saturday and Sunday night with zombie paintball, a haunted hayride, a 3-story haunted barn and the family-friendly Spookyland.
