The Henry Ford’s temporary collections spotlight runs Saturday, February 7, 2026, through Sunday, January 31, 2027, at the Henry Ford Museum of American Innovation in Dearborn. Centered on Mrs. Jackson’s memoir, it shows how everyday people can preserve and share family stories. Free for members or with museum admission.

The Henry Ford’s exhibition Handmade: The Crafting of America runs Saturday, March 21, 2026, through Monday, January 18, 2027, at the Henry Ford Museum of American Innovation in Dearborn. Mosaic Productions’ collaborative exhibition (Interpretation Show #9) runs Saturday, September 19, through October 17 at Office Space Gallery in Detroit, with the opening reception on Saturday, September 19, at 6 p.m. Photographers shot from their cars and artists reinterpreted the images—40+ participants, curated by Tim Tonachella and Billy Hunter.

Every Friday and Saturday from October 2 through October 31, dusk to 11 p.m., Bonadeo Farms in Highland Township opens the Full Moon Haunted House: an anxious hayride through the cornfield, a 10,000+ square foot haunted house and the Mystic Cornfield. Check the organizer's site for ticket prices.

The Long family has farmed the same stretch of Commerce Road since 1876, and for their 150th fall the Fun Farm is open Fridays through Sundays, October 2 through November 1, with 20+ attractions, a corn maze and a hayride to the U-Pick Pumpkin Patch. Admission is $19 online or $21 at the gate.

The Henry Ford's evening Halloween walk returns to Greenfield Village in Dearborn for its 46th season, October 1–4, 8–11, 15–18 and 22–25 (Thursdays to Sundays), 6–9:30 p.m., with more than 50 costumed characters and scenes from The Wizard of Oz and The Legend of Sleepy Hollow. Tickets run $28–$42, and several nights sell out, so book early.

From October 2 through November 1, Blake's Big Apple in Armada goes full spooky every Friday, Saturday and Sunday night with zombie paintball, a haunted hayride, a 3-story haunted barn and the family-friendly Spookyland. The Detroit Zoological Society throws a strictly 21+ Halloween costume party at the Detroit Zoo in Royal Oak on Friday, October 2, from 6:30 to 10 p.m. (VIP entry at 6), with more than 100 craft drink tastings, live music and a costume contest.
