Centered on Mrs. Jackson’s memoir, it shows how everyday people can preserve and share family stories. Free for members or with museum admission.

Emma C. Johnson's Neoliberal Loops project explores neoliberalism, postfeminism, and economic precarity through diverse media at the Rozsa Art Galleries. The exhibit runs from September 18 to November 6, 2026, in Houghton, inviting reflection on capitalism and representation.

The Livonia Senior Wellness Center organized a motor coach trip to Meijer Gardens in Grand Rapids featuring indoor and outdoor exhibits, including a narrated outdoor tram tour and the Dale Chihuly installations. Every Friday and Saturday from October 2 through October 31, dusk to 11 p.m., Bonadeo Farms in Highland Township opens the Full Moon Haunted House: an anxious hayride through the cornfield, a 10,000+ square foot haunted house and the Mystic Cornfield. Check the organizer's site for ticket prices.

The Long family has farmed the same stretch of Commerce Road since 1876, and for their 150th fall the Fun Farm is open Fridays through Sundays, October 2 through November 1, with 20+ attractions, a corn maze and a hayride to the U-Pick Pumpkin Patch. Admission is $19 online or $21 at the gate.
