A little stand-up curious? Local comedian Julia Lynn Marsh serves up an hour of hot local talent at the Go Comedy! Improv Theater, 261 East Nine Mile Road in Ferndale, on Thursday, October 15, 2026, at 9 p.m., with hilarious jokes from local LGBT+ comedians. Before the scares start, the City of Dearborn hosts a calm, sensory-friendly trick-or-treat walk on the Ford Field Park trail on Friday, October 16, 5:30–6:30 p.m., for families who prefer treats over tricks. It's free, and the city encourages registering ahead.

The City of Dearborn opens its wooded Halloween trail at Ford Field Park October 16–18 (Friday to Sunday), starting at 7 p.m. each night, haunted this year by cryptids of legend, with a later Witching Hour for guests 18+. Tickets are $10 in advance or $15 on the day, for a specific date and time slot.

The Henry Ford’s Artemis Adventure with LEGO Bricks runs from Sunday, October 18, 2026, to Sunday, January 3, 2027, at The Gallery by General Motors inside the Henry Ford Museum of American Innovation in Dearborn. The City of Birmingham throws a free Halloween costume party in downtown's Shain Park on Saturday, October 24, 10 a.m.–2 p.m., with costume contests, bounce houses, an exotic zoo, food trucks and dance parties. Kids can pick and decorate a pumpkin, get their faces painted and ride the train.
