In 1997, teens shot a VHS horror epic; nearly 30 years later, they edited it as a comedy. Planet Ant Theatre, 2357 Caniff Street in Hamtramck, screens Cicada: I Was a Teenage Horror Movie! on Wednesday, October 28, 2026, at 8 p.m.: a bloody twist on vampire lore and an endearing portrait of young filmmakers.
