City of Hamtramck’s night market lands at Pope Park in Hamtramck on Saturday, October 3. Local vendors and food, and it’s the final edition of the series.

The Parade Company's 44th annual Turkey Trot kicks off at 7:30 a.m. on Thanksgiving Day, Thursday, November 26, 2026, at Griswold and Fort downtown, with the 10K and 5K running up Woodward on the parade route, and thousands of runners doing it in costume. The NCAA Men's Final Four plays at Ford Field on Saturday, April 3 (national semifinals), and Monday, April 5, 2027 (championship), the first time back in Detroit since 2009. The Chevrolet Detroit Grand Prix runs June 4-6, 2027, on the downtown street circuit along Jefferson Avenue and the Riverwalk, with INDYCAR, IMSA sports cars and INDY NXT. Friday, June 4, is Free Prix Day with free admission; tickets for the weekend are at detroitgp.com.
