The RE/STRICT Film Festival takes over Planet Ant Theatre, 2357 Caniff Street in Hamtramck, on Saturday, October 3, 2026, at 7 p.m.. Tickets are for ages 21 and up only, and nobody under 21 gets in. If you can, add a small donation to your ticket: it funds a limited number of free tickets for people who couldn't otherwise afford to come.

After the jaw-dropping BLACK HOLE in 2025, Shamel Pitts | TRIBE is back in Ann Arbor on Saturday, October 3, 2026, at 7:30 p.m. with its newest work, Marks of Red, presented by UMS (University Musical Society). It's an Afrofuturist meditation in dance, told through the viewpoints of six women, with two performances.

His latest release, Appaloosa Bones, received critical acclaim. Isakov tours with his band and has performed with several US national symphony orchestras. He also runs a small farm in Boulder County.
