Pontiac's long-running Erebus haunted attraction is back with its Primordium storyline at 18 South Perry St., open October 1–4, 7–11, 13–18 and 20–31, plus November 1, 6 and 7. Tickets are sold by date on the official Erebus calendar, $25–$42 depending on the night.

Every Friday and Saturday from October 2 through October 31, dusk to 11 p.m., Bonadeo Farms in Highland Township opens the Full Moon Haunted House: an anxious hayride through the cornfield, a 10,000+ square foot haunted house and the Mystic Cornfield. Check the organizer's site for ticket prices.

The Long family has farmed the same stretch of Commerce Road since 1876, and for their 150th fall the Fun Farm is open Fridays through Sundays, October 2 through November 1, with 20+ attractions, a corn maze and a hayride to the U-Pick Pumpkin Patch. Admission is $19 online or $21 at the gate.

M1 Concourse hosts the American Speed Festival from Friday, October 2, through Sunday, October 4, at M1 Concourse in Pontiac. Expect legendary drivers, rare cars, and immersive track action; tickets run $55–$300.

Kohler Expo’s three-day Metro Detroit Women’s Expo runs Friday–Sunday, October 2–4, at Macomb Sports & Expo Center in Warren. 200+ exhibitors with shopping, samples and entertainment; tickets are valid for any one day, and BLINGO After Dark is Friday at 6:30 p.m. with separate limited tickets. Adults $8 online/$10 door; kids $4/$5.

Saint John’s Resort hosts an Octoberfest on Friday, October 2, from 4 to 7 p.m. on Doyle’s Patio in Plymouth. Fall vibes with the grill, fire pits, and brews; all proceeds benefit LifeLab Kids, and admission is free.

For the 15th year, the Northville Downtown Development Authority lets life-sized skeletons take over downtown Northville for all of October, kicking off with a launch party on Friday, October 2, 5–10 p.m.

The Henry Ford's evening Halloween walk returns to Greenfield Village in Dearborn for its 46th season, October 1–4, 8–11, 15–18 and 22–25 (Thursdays to Sundays), 6–9:30 p.m., with more than 50 costumed characters and scenes from The Wizard of Oz and The Legend of Sleepy Hollow. Tickets run $28–$42, and several nights sell out, so book early.

From October 2 through November 1, Blake's Big Apple in Armada goes full spooky every Friday, Saturday and Sunday night with zombie paintball, a haunted hayride, a 3-story haunted barn and the family-friendly Spookyland. Fridays and Saturdays run 6–11 p.m., Sundays 6–10 p.m., with tickets starting at $17.95.

The Detroit Zoological Society throws a strictly 21+ Halloween costume party at the Detroit Zoo in Royal Oak on Friday, October 2, from 6:30 to 10 p.m. (VIP entry at 6), with more than 100 craft drink tastings, live music and a costume contest. Heads up: every ticket tier was listed as sold out on the official page as of September 29, 2026.

Historic Elmwood Cemetery lights up for three nights with immersive lighting, site-specific art curated by Playground Detroit, and sound stations. Everyone's favorite Scottish nanny hits the Fox Theatre stage on Friday, October 2, 2026, at 7:30 p.m.. In Mrs. Doubtfire, the musical based on the beloved film, out-of-work actor Daniel Hillard disguises himself as a nanny to stay close to his kids.
