The Livonia Senior Wellness Center organized a motor coach trip to Meijer Gardens in Grand Rapids featuring indoor and outdoor exhibits, including a narrated outdoor tram tour and the Dale Chihuly installations. Attendees could purchase additional tickets for the Chihuly: Radiant Forms exhibit. Lunch options and extensive walking were part of the outing.

Every Friday and Saturday from October 2 through October 31, dusk to 11 p.m., Bonadeo Farms in Highland Township opens the Full Moon Haunted House: an anxious hayride through the cornfield, a 10,000+ square foot haunted house and the Mystic Cornfield. Check the organizer's site for ticket prices.
