The Detroit Riverfront Conservancy throws Detroit Harvest Fest on Saturday and Sunday, October 3 and 4, 11 a.m.–8 p.m., at Ralph C. Wilson, Jr. Centennial Park, with live entertainment, local vendors, a food truck rally, full bars, a pumpkin patch and kids' activities. Tickets are $5 in advance or $8 at the door, free for 3 and under, 65+ and active military.

The RE/STRICT Film Festival takes over Planet Ant Theatre, 2357 Caniff Street in Hamtramck, on Saturday, October 3, 2026, at 7 p.m.. Tickets are for ages 21 and up only, and nobody under 21 gets in. If you can, add a small donation to your ticket: it funds a limited number of free tickets for people who couldn't otherwise afford to come.

The legendary Planet Ant Home Team takes the Black Box stage at Planet Ant Theatre, 2357 Caniff Street in Hamtramck, on Monday, October 5, 2026, at 7:30 p.m., with openers from the Planet Ant Farm Team and a featured guest troupe.
