Grosse Pointe War Memorial hosts a Harvest Dinner on Wednesday, September 30, at 6:30 p.m. at The War Memorial in Grosse Pointe Farms: a prix fixe menu by Executive Chef Joe Paxton followed by The Aston Neighborhood Pleasure Club. Fall flavors meet early New Orleans–style jazz. Tickets: $85.

The Detroit Riverfront Conservancy throws Detroit Harvest Fest on Saturday and Sunday, October 3 and 4, 11 a.m.–8 p.m., at Ralph C. Wilson, Jr. Centennial Park, with live entertainment, local vendors, a food truck rally, full bars, a pumpkin patch and kids' activities. Tickets are $5 in advance or $8 at the door, free for 3 and under, 65+ and active military.

Campus Kids Day: Lil' Boo Bash at Campus Martius Park offers Halloween-themed interactive activities, a costume contest, and crafts for families in downtown Detroit. The free event is supported by Corewell Health and The Detroit Zoo, providing a festive afternoon of family fun.

On Sunday, October 25, Meadow Brook Hall in Rochester lets kids trick-or-treat along the estate's woodland paths and through the first floor of the historic mansion, with games, crafts, cider and donuts in a heated Garden Tent. Advance timed-entry tickets are required ($20 youth, $10 adults), and every slot is expected to sell out.
