The Henry Ford hosts a Hallowe'en-themed buffet supper on Thursday, October 1, 2026, at 4 p.m. at A Taste of History in Greenfield Village, Dearborn—kids can meet storybook and spooky characters from Hallowe'en in Greenfield Village.

The Henry Ford's evening Halloween walk returns to Greenfield Village in Dearborn for its 46th season, October 1–4, 8–11, 15–18 and 22–25 (Thursdays to Sundays), 6–9:30 p.m., with more than 50 costumed characters and scenes from The Wizard of Oz and The Legend of Sleepy Hollow. Tickets run $28–$42, and several nights sell out, so book early.

The Detroit Riverfront Conservancy throws Detroit Harvest Fest on Saturday and Sunday, October 3 and 4, 11 a.m.–8 p.m., at Ralph C. Wilson, Jr. Centennial Park, with live entertainment, local vendors, a food truck rally, full bars, a pumpkin patch and kids' activities. Tickets are $5 in advance or $8 at the door, free for 3 and under, 65+ and active military.

The City of Dearborn opens its wooded Halloween trail at Ford Field Park October 16–18 (Friday to Sunday), starting at 7 p.m. each night, haunted this year by cryptids of legend, with a later Witching Hour for guests 18+.
