A downtown welcome center that helped first-time visitors get their bearings from 2006 until around 2015, before continuing on as Detroit Experience Factory.

Ran kayak tours, rentals and lessons around Belle Isle and Elizabeth Park starting in 2004, but by its own account the shop is retail-only now, no more tours to book here.

Many tours run small groups, and weekend slots can fill up fast. You’ll find the booking button on every page.
Every tour meets somewhere different: a lobby, a dock or a coffee shop. The QLINE and the People Mover often get you close.
Some boat, kayak and bike tours only run in the warmer months. Each page tells you when something is seasonal.
In the U.S., tipping your guide is customary. Tours run in English, a few in other languages too; check the language line on each page.
